Barbara was asked to appear in some scenes for a comedy pilot for Talkback Thames by comedy writer and actress Roisin Conaty. The hilarious script delves into some surreal worlds including a Heartbreak Hotel where relationship rejects go to mend a broken heart, the sketches saw Barbara playing a compulsive eater who comes unstuck in a cooking class. In contrast to this role she also plays a "gansta biatch" in a mock rap video. We will bring you more news on the pilot's progress soon.

Barbara completed filming on "The End Of It" this month. A futuristic drama set in a world where food is scarce and the planet's population lives on synthetic substitutes causing wide spread sickness. Suicide becomes a daily occurrence with inhabitants booking themselves in for Quietus ceremonies where their life is celebrated and then cut short in front of their loved ones. Barbara plays Harriet, who becoming pregnant questions of the morality of suicide. The film is screening at The Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square on the 10th of June. More news to follow.

Barbara completed filming on American Rebellion at the end of January up in the west Midlands. The shoot went smoothly and the cast and crew had a fantastic time despite the extreme cold conditions in the derelict building in Walsall! Director Richard Salt was quick off the mark and has already completed a rough cut of the film.

Once the few finishing touches are put on in post production Nebula Gate will enter the film into renowned film festival such as Cannes and Raindance. The London Screening is Planned for May. More info to follow in the meantime visit the Nebula Gate's website to view screen shots.

Barbara auditioned for Douglas Baker for his film the End Of It in early February and after being recalled was given the part of Harriet. The short is set to shoot in early March and centers around the subject of suicide. We will bring you more information after the shoot.

As the Tales of Peter Rabbit international tour comes to an end The Khaleej Times catches up with Barbara on the show's last stop Dubai.

"I can't believe its the end of Peter Rabbit! although we have gone out with a bang doing 9 shows in 3 days to an incredible response. All our shows were sold out and we had really diverse audiences from local schools to expat families. We had such a great reception that there are talks of taking it to Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, which is something that we would love to do in the future."

Barbara has started rehearsals on Nebula-Gate Films' short American Rebellion in which she plays Dr Elena Walker a military doctor that specializes in torture technique. American Rebellion will be shot in mid January and is directed by Richard salt.

Barbara is filming a short film called Scarred. It is a story of betrayal and revenge between two brothers which ends in tragedy. Barbara plays Kelly the girlfriend of the arrogant older brother who has to deal with his violent and erratic behavior. Barbara will be filming throughout September on this project whilst still on tour with The Tales of Peter Rabbit playing Beatrix Potter.

"It's been great getting back in front of the camera after having such a long run on stage although the tour ends in a couple of months and I will be sad to say good bye to Beatrix, not to mention the wonderful cast!"

Barbara decided to take the leap back into acting last year when she auditioned for The Tales of Peter Rabbit, she was lucky enough to be given the part of her childhood hero Beatrix Potter! The tour has been running since February and goes through to November 2009. "I am enjoying the tour immensely, we have played in some fantastic theatres and visited some beautiful parts of the country. We have a great cast and technical team and as I am a new mum this classic children's tale is the perfect show for me."

Barbara took a year out to have her daughter and to start her Entertainment Production Company Beau Production. Her company has gone from strength to strength producing the critically acclaimed West End Show Scarlet Fever and opening the O2 in Greenwich along Kieser Chiefs, Basement Jaxx and Tom Jones! Barbara has cornered the market on new cutting edge entertainment for the corporate world with an impressive client list including O2, Carphone Warehouse, Apple and Innocent Drinks. She also caters for Private Parties thrown at some of the UK's most prestigious venues.

Never one not to join in Barbara has played a multitude of characters at these events including The Queen of Hearts, Heavens Gate Keeper and A Village Idiot! See gallery for photos.

Barbara has recently completed filming on feature film The Grind written and directed by Rishie Opel. This British drama centers around Hackney Night club owner Dave played by Jamie Foreman the hot tempered manager played by Freddie Connor and his toublesome best friend Bobby (Gordon Alexander). The film also stars Zoe Tapper and Kellie Shirley.

The Wedding Ensemble is expected to be completed by Jan 07, more updates soon.

Finally, Barbara is also in talks with Dapper films about playing the lead in Neil A Ailing's next feature possibly filmimg in Aug 07.
